Sharon Printy, Owner/Travel Agent
Sharon Printy is excited to be living her dream as a travel agent. Born and raised in the "Vacation Capital of the World", Orlando, Sharon has always ventured away from the area for vacation. Family vacations were usually road trips around the U.S. and one cruise in horrible weather. It wasn't until her honeymoon in 2000 in St. Lucia, where she fell in love with the Caribbean.
Good Life Travel & Events was founded in May 2011 after the passing of Sharon's father, Jim, who loved to travel and realized the importance of vacations. She realized life was too short not to be doing something you love. After being the go to person for travel advice at her previous jobs since she traveled frequently, she decided to start up a travel agency on the side. After 2 years doing it as a side job in addition to working full time, she finally took the leap and is now full time as a travel agent.
Sharon is an IATA Card holder which is the only industry credential recognized worldwide serving the needs of both the travel agent community and industry suppliers. She is also a member of the Destination Weddings and Honeymoon Specialists Association. Sharon is also a Certified Sandals Specialist (since 2011), Royal Caribbean Wow Specialist (since 2011), Palace Resorts Specialist (since 2015), Certified Romance Travel Specialist (since 2015), Karisma Gourmet Inclusive Vacation Consultant (since 2016), AMResorts MasterAgent (Since 2016), Couples Resorts Specialist (Since 2018), Paul Gauguin PEARL (since 2019), Virgin Voyages First Mate Gold Level ( since 2021) St. Lucia Destination Specialist, New Orleans Specialist, Antigua and Barbuda Specialist and a Jamaica Travel Specialist since she started up her agency. In 2015, she won the Chairman's Outstanding Sales Achievement Award from Sandals Resorts.
When she is not helping clients plan that special trip, Sharon enjoys spending time with her husband, Roger, family & friends and her dogs, Bacchus and Rex (named after New Orleans Mardi Gras Krewes), going to Gator football games, volunteering with the Cure Bowl and other sporting events, taking pictures, and having a good time!
